Riding goals for 2016-2017 winter?
This winter I would like to place in the top five at the Legendary Baker Banked Slalom. It is my favorite event of the season and I always have a good time at that event.
What is your favorite memory from snowboarding or skiing?
My favorite snowboarding memory is my first pow day in Seattle a few years back. Coming from Hyland Hills in Minnesota where they blow snow and the runs last 30 seconds, I had no idea how to ride more than a few inches of fresh snow. Every time I thought I wouldn’t fall anymore, I’d nose dive face first into the snow. I had some good laughs and eventually figured out I needed to lean back a little.
Advice for beginners?
My advice for beginners would be to ride as much as possible with your friends. Riding with friends is so fun because everyone feeds off of each other’s energy and progresses. Some of my most progressive days have been riding with friends.

My favorite chair on a powder day is 7th heaven.
What is your go to hobby when you aren’t riding?
When I’m not riding I enjoy soccer, skating, and surfing.
How old were you when you started snowboarding?
I was five years old when I first started. After seeing a poster at school, I begged my parents for weeks to put me into classes.
