Please note:

  • Multi-week Programs do not include lift access as standard. Deeply discounted Season Passes are available upon registration.
  • Multi-week Programs do not include rental equipment. Seasonal rentals are available upon registration.

SKI & SNOWBOARD AGES 5-15

Our flagship program for those looking for the consistency of a set schedule and the same coach and same team each week. Base Camp is all about building confidence and independence through a solid foundation of fundamental skills, mountain awareness and of course having a blast! Classes are formed based on age and ability level. Choose from available Saturday or Sunday dates for our consecutive 6-Week Winter or 4-Week Spring program.

SKI & SNOWBOARD AGES 7-15

High Camp goes beyond the fundamentals and focuses on developing freeride and freestyle skills and safety awareness, while still retaining a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. This 6-week program explores the vast array of terrain Stevens has to offer and serves as an insight into competitions and team-based coaching for the most advanced participants. Participants are divided into teams by age and ability. Each team will progress together under the guidance of the same coach each week.

D-Team

D-Team

SKI & SNOWBOARD AGES 7-18

Reached the top? D-Team is our freeride and freestyle program for the most advanced skiers and riders looking for intensive, specialized training with support and coaching for those working towards local and national competitions. The program schedule coincides with the Western Washington USASA competition circuit which will offer local freestyle events for D-Team aged kids to participate in.  Choose from available Saturday, Sunday or Friday Night dates. 

In addition to the training dates, Early Season Coaching can be added to offer an opportunity for athletes to get a head start on the season and as an optional warm up to the program. New participants must pass a pre-program evaluation. Athletes can sign-up for a specific program or purchase an Unlimited Passport to participate in as many of the days as they wish.

Mountain Leadership Program

Mountain Leadership Program

SKI & SNOWBOARD AGES 12-15

Ever wondered what it takes to be an instructor, patroller or even a snowcat operator? This program is for advanced skiers and riders who are looking to combine coaching for expert skiing and riding with experiences and challenges that go beyond regular lessons. See behind the scenes at the resort, discover a deeper respect for the mountain environment and gain transferable skills and knowledge that can extend into life outside the mountains. 

 

PROGRAM DETAILS

Participants may select up to 12 days from a calendar of available key weekend and holiday dates. Each day includes optional early morning skiing/riding followed by a morning spent skiing/riding with and shadowing a professional instructor and their youth class. After lunch with us they would then head out with their coach in the afternoon for training and skill development. As well as training on high level skiing/riding skills in all conditions and environments, our curriculum will cover topics like backcountry skills and awareness, leadership skills, and equipment care. Participants will also get to ‘go behind the scenes’ and spend time learning about resort operations. Our program over the years as spent time shadowing patrollers and the avalanche dog handlers, enjoying a tour of the lift engine rooms or a snow-cat, assisting the terrain park crew or receiving some basic instructor training.
