Opening Day - November 16, 2017

We officially launched our 80th winter season on November 16! On Saturday and Sunday we'll be running five chairlifts (see below for details). We have great early season conditions thanks to steady snowfall this month. The mountain has received more than four feet of snow accumulation since November 1. After a lull, another round of snow is slated for Saturday night through Sunday. La Niña is ramping up, and it looks like we’re in for another season filled with bountiful powder.

We plan to be open seven days per week, however our operations are contingent upon weather and snow conditions and may change accordingly.

NOV. 18-19 OPERATIONS PLAN (conditions permitting)

CHAIRLIFTS: Skyline, Hogsback, Tye Mill, Brooks, and Daisy Chairlifts will be spinning. Additional lifts and terrain could open as weather and snow conditions allow.

DAILY HOURS: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

TICKET RATES: Ages 16-69 $50, ages 7-15 $38, ages 70+ $20, ages 6 and under are free.

Ticket windows and Guest Relations are open 8 a.m.-4 p.m. to buy, pickup, or activate Season Passes and Powder Pack Passes and assist with other needs.

SKI & SNOWBOARD SCHOOL: Private lessons are available. Youth and Adult Group Lessons will be offered once we have sufficient snow to operate our learning area and magic carpet conveyor lifts.

FOOD & BEVERAGE: Cascadian Kitchen 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (breakfast & lunch), T-Bar 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Bull's Tooth 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Other resort dining options will open as the season progresses.

RENTALS & REPAIR: The Rental Tech Center will be open 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

TERRAIN PARKS: Top Phlight Park on Upper Broadway now has 17 features with more being added as conditions permit.

RETAIL SHOPS: Fall Line Sports will be open 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

We plan to operate daily, however operations are "to be determined" based on weather and conditions. Please check this website for updates.

UPHILL TRAVEL: The Stevens Pass Uphill Traffic Policy is now in effect. Due to safety concerns, and in accordance with our Area Operating Plan approved by the Forest Service, Stevens Pass reserves the right to limit uphill traffic within the resort boundary at any time during the operating season. Our operating season is defined by when the mountain first opens for winter operations, until it's closed for the winter season.

Please review our full policy before attempting uphill travel at Stevens Pass.

EARLY SEASON CONDITIONS: Be aware that early season conditions exist. We are thrilled that Mother Nature enabled us to open so early this season, but please be aware that mountain hazards exist as our base continues to grow. We have a long way to go and plenty of powder days in the coming months. Stay safe!
