Beacon Basin
Beacon Basin - Snow safety is an essential part of backcountry travel, so be sure to hone your avalanche beacon skills at Stevens Pass. Once there is enough snow, Pro Patrol sets up Beacon Basin where you can search for buried objects and improve your skills!

Our Location 

We're 78 miles east of Seattle on scenic U.S. Highway 2, up the Skykomish Valley. 78 miles east of Seattle, 65 miles east of Everett and 58 miles west of Wenatchee We are part of the beautiful "Cascade Loop."


Directions From Seattle 

  • Take I-405 North
  • Take exit 23 (Highway 522) Wenatchee/Monroe to Monroe
  • At Highway 2 intersection turn left
  • Follow Highway 2 - 50 miles east to Stevens Pass Resort

  • Take I-5 North
  • Take exit 194 (Stevens Pass) in Everett and
  • Follow Highway 2 - 65 miles to Stevens Pass Resort

 

Drive Times From Seattle & Everett 

Wintertime Conditions

From downtown Seattle, depending on traffic and driving conditions, drive time will be approximately 2 hours to 2.5 hours.

From Everett, depending on traffic and driving conditions, drive time will be approximately 1.5 hours to 1.75 hours.


Directions from Wenatchee or Leavenworth

  • Follow Highway 2 west to resort. 58 miles from Wenatchee, 37 from Leavenworth.

 

Drive Times From Leavenworth & Wenatchee

Wintertime Conditions

From Leavenworth, depending on traffic and driving conditions, drive time will be approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

From Wenatchee, depending on traffic and driving conditions, drive time will be approximately 1.25 hours to 1.5 hours
