New Stevens Pass SNOW SAFETY PROGRAM! These snow safety educational classes are sponsored by our very own Professional Patrol. Stevens GREEN INITIATIVES - learn more about all that we are doing to Keep Winter Cool! INSIDE STEVENS: a look at the "what and why" of procedures, programs and our vision for Stevens Pass. The Top Phlight Terrain Park now requires all terrain park users to have a special Park Pass. Click for PARK PASS program information and requirements. Download a Release of Liability agreement. Freestyle Terrain
Stevens Pass trail difficulty is based on the degree of difficulty for our area.
We have: 
- 11% beginner terrain,
- 54% intermediate terrain
- 35% advanced terrain.
Family & Slow Zones
Slow zones are marked on the trail map. These areas are our beginner areas and congested areas. Please slow down through these areas. Please report violators to the Ski Patrol. Clothing descriptions are helpful. Violators will lose their ticket or pass.
Family Zones — Certain areas labeled "Family Zones" have a no tolerance approach to reckless and unsafe behavior. They are available Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday days, January through March. The ski patrol and the hosts monitor the Family Zones. For locations please contact one of our staff members.
Closed Areas
An area may be closed for safety considerations or avalanche danger. Violating a closure will result in loss of ticket or pass on initial contact. Responsibility Code # 6.
Out of Ski Area
The backcountry area outside of the Stevens Pass Ski Area boundaries is public land. However you must be aware of the potential for serious injury and costly rescue operations. There may be times when hiking routes in the Ski area boundaries are closed due to avalanche danger or other safety concerns.
