Q: Do I need to make a reservation for a group lesson?
Answer: A: No, however it is highly recommended and will enhance your experience if you purchase your lesson packages and reserve equipment by making a reservation
online, or call 206-812-4510. You must reserve online or call by 1 pm the day prior to your visit. If you do not make a reservation prior, you can get into a group lesson by purchasing your lesson package at our Rossignol Tech Center (equipment rental shop). You must purchase your lesson package by 8:30 am or 11:30 to allow enough time to get your rental equipment and meet your group.

Q: Where do I meet the lesson groups for 10 am and 1 pm class lessons?
Answer: A: Stevens Pass Ski and Snowboard School adult class lessons meet on the east end of the ski school building, just outside the door of the Stevens Pass Ski and Snowboard School office.

The ski school building is located beyond the three base lodges at the base of Daisy, the purple beginner chairlift. From the base lodges, walk to the right of the equipment check building and continue down a slight hill. The lesson meeting area is in the flats at the base of the beginner slope next to the carpet lift.

Q: What’s the ideal length of time for a private lesson if I am a beginner?
Answer: A: Choose a two-hour private if you are new to snowboarding or skiing. This gives you time to get acquainted with the equipment, the basics of sliding, and getting on and off the chairlift, with time left over to practice and learn the basics by actually sliding on the hill with your coach.

Q: Can I request a particular ski or snowboard instructor?
Answer: A: Yes! You can request the instructor of your choice when you book a reservation for a private lesson. Please call 206-812-7387 at least 48 hours in advance so that we can coordinate your schedule with the instructor’s schedule, and be aware that instructors do take days off.

Private lessons are very popular, so reserve ahead of time. Reservations cancelled with 24 hours notice are eligible for a full refund. Reservations cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are not eligible for any refund unless the resort is closed.

Unfortunately, we cannot honor any requests for particular instructors for group lessons, multiweek lessons, or camps and workshops.

Coca Cola Easy Starter Packs, Adult Group Lesson Specials, include a lift ticket appropriate for your lesson special.
