Safety Week

Stevens Pass is celebrating National Safety Awareness Week with all sorts of FREE events over the weekend!

FRIDAY, JANUARY 25th

Ride with Ryan Forbes, Mountain Manager (10:00am at the fire pit) - Learn what it takes to make sure a mountain resort is ready to open safely each morning while skiing/snowboarding around the mountain with our Mountain Manager.

Avalanche Awareness 101 (10:30am and 2:00pm under the tent outside of the Granite Peaks Lodge near the fire pit) - Learn the basics of avalanche awareness, including back country gear demonstrations and how to use NWAC reports. Each class should last 20-30 minutes and is taught by Pro Patrol.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 26th

Scavenger Hunt Bingo (9:00am - 2:30pm) - Collect a bingo card from a mountain host in the base area, complete all the activities and be entered into a drawing for prizes! Drawing will occur at 2:30pm under the tent outside of the Granite Peaks Lodge near the fire pit.

Ride with Brian Boyle, Shop/Terrain Park/Grooming Manager, and Guy Firth, Terrain Park Supervisor (1:00pm at the fire pit) - Learn what it takes to build and maintain one of the best terrain parks in the PNW, from building and installing features to grooming the park while skiing and snowboarding around the park.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 27th

Ride with Chris Brixey, Patrol Manager (10:00am at the fire pit) - Learn the ins and outs of the avalanche control work that's done at Stevens Pass while skiing and snowboarding around the mountain with our Patrol Manager.

Avalanche Awareness 101 (10:30am and 2:00pm under the tent outside of the Granite Peaks Lodge near the fire pit) - Learn the basics of avalanche awareness, including back country gear demonstrations and how to use NWAC reports. Each class should last 20-30 minutes and is taught by Pro Patrol.
